How many times have you heard the expression, A picture is worth a thousand words? This is so true in the case of visualization. Visualization is a great tool when dealing with illness or situations that are out of your control.

Visualization uses imagery to change your emotions, which change your feelings, which then change into physical sensations that can eliminate symptoms.

Your physical sensations can cause your body to react to different situations. For example, watching a scary film or if you become frightened you would possible get goose bumps. Visualization provides positive images for the mind that allows you to access the mind and body connection.

It has been proven that negative emotions lower your immune system and keep you bogged down. Having negative emotions delays and stops you from reaching your goals and actually inhibits the brain in accomplishing what you want. Positive emotions actually boost the immune system. Making your brain work in a balanced mode, this is conducive to change.

With visualization, you use images or pictures to balance the brain. The brains divided into two areas. The left side is the logical side and the right side is the creative side. Throughout your life, you will use the logical side more than your creative side. When you use visualization, you use your creative side. So remember you are what you think so think positive

I want at this point to say that visualization alone is not enough to succeed. Hard work and dedication is also needed in order to make your goal a reality. The way to achieve the result is by making it happen in your mind first. In other words, visualization allows you to take advantage of your inner ability, so imagine an experience that will help you focus on what you want to achieve.

The procedure of visualization is simple, firstly, find a quiet place, secondly define your intention, and thirdly concentrate on your breath and breathing, fourthly begin your visualization.

Keep one thought in mind. In order to get the most out of visualization, messages to your subconscious mind need to be agreed with what you visualize; otherwise, you will never create the things that you visualize, no matter how hard you try. This can be easily controlled; from this point forward, you should only think positive, loving, affirming, supportive and respectful words to yourself and others. You only engage in those activities that are healthy, productive, energizing and successful for you and others. It is not only about visualization it is also about a completely new way of life.

Think of it this way. A team player with yourself -A team player with others Visualization usually takes six weeks to work and should be done first thing in the morning and at night before bedtime. However, many people do find results after the very first time. To affect a successful outcome you need to be specific when you define your intention and FEEL, KNOW and TRUST that it is going to work.

Visualization and Guided imagery is a technique that assists you in creating want you want in your life. Think of it this way. You are sending a picture or an image to your subconscious mind and you are allowing your mind to believe what it is seeing, is real. The subconscious mind does not discriminate between real or imagined images. It simply sees and processes what it is given and then without even questioning your subconscious mind begins creating what you see.

WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU SEE WITHOUT DOUBT, THAT IS THE KEY TO VISUALIZATION AND GUIDED IMAGERY

If you are visualizing yourself as a thriving, successful, healthy and focused person, then the reality is that your subconscious mind will create it. When you have done this for a thirty-day period and you have done it properly, your reality becomes what you think.

You may be asking why thirty days. The mind teaches us that when you engage in any thought process and think it is for real for 21 to 30 days, the thought is in your subconscious mind and becomes you. Many successful athletes, politicians, actors/actresses and other successful people understand that by utilizing the power of the mind to affect change will move them towards the best they can be. They create a movie of success in their mind, before actually engaging in their activity. They always see their success ahead of time. They also know that by engaging for more than 21 to 30 days becomes automatic and real.

It is this simple!
Do not doubt the theory.
It is real.
It is right.
It is timely to understand.

You cannot afford to pass, on understanding this simple, yet powerful theory of your mind
Remember your subconscious mind receives a number of messages from you every second of your day, both awake and asleep. The subconscious mind is always awake. Though your conscious mind will sleep, your subconscious mind is your GATEKEEPER. Use it wisely. It creates your reality based on the messages you think, say and do.

Meditation is a wonderful way to calm your mind, clear your thoughts, and bring you to peace with the world. It is also a deeply personal experience, and requires your complete concentration. If you’re new to meditation, or looking for a way to refresh your routine, here are a few tips for getting started.

Location, location, location

Where you meditate is almost as important as how you meditate. You should find a place that has good feelings and memories for you, and that resonates with your spirit. It should be quiet, and preferably outside, which brings your spirit closer to nature.

There are group meditations, and a group meditation can have good energy and enhance your own personal meditation. However, you should not try to meditate where other people will be a distraction. Meditation is all about connecting with your own spirit. If being around other people will make that difficult, then you should meditate alone.

Be choosy with your time

When you’re meditating, especially the first time, make certain that you have no time constraints. It’s very challenging to find peace and stillness the first time you do it, and that basic “I need to…” thought nagging at the back of your mind will make it nigh impossible to reach the stillness necessary for meditation. Time goes very quickly when you meditate, so give yourself that freedom.

Also, make sure other people know what you’re doing, and turn off your cell phone to prevent further distractions from coming up.

Breathe in, breathe out

Once you’re in a comfortable position, begin deep breathing and gently close your eyes. Breathe in through your nose, expand your lungs, slowly and count to five. As you breathe in, feel your chest and stomach expand. Feel the air coming in through your nose, down your throat, into your chest, and hold it.

As you hold your breath, feel the fullness and energy of your body completely using the oxygen. Breathe out, count to five again and feel the air push out of your body. As you breathe out, feel your chest and stomach contract and relax, getting rid of all the used air and preparing for a big, fresh new breath. Hold it and find the perfect stillness there.

Repeat the breathing as many times as necessary to get into the meditative zone. Don’t hold it so long that you’re gasping for air, or are rushing for the next breath. Just breathe deeply, slowly and rhythmically.

Relaxing body and spirit

The hardest part about meditating is having the patience with yourself to sit through your mind’s wanderings. In the beginning a lot of strange sensations and thoughts may come to the surface. Simply let these wash over you without judgment or fear. Shocking images may pass before your eyes, you may hear sounds that frighten you, and difficult emotions may arise. Acknowledge these emotions, but to not allow them to rule your spirit. Allow these waves of sensations to pass, and float back into that clear meditative state.

At first, even your body may rebel against relaxation and stillness. You may even feel cramped and edgy at first. Simply focus on your breathing and allow the tranquility and peace to flow into your limbs and relax them slowly.

The mind isn’t used to being harnessed, and that makes your first meditation very challenging. Just be patient and wait it out. Eventually your mind will settle into the stillness, like a bouncing ball slowly coming to rest. Once it’s trained, your mind will crave the freedom it has found in meditation.

A few final tips

It helps to make a commitment to meditate at the same time every day and do it no matter what. Meditation must have first priority in this case, or else your mind will start to come up with all kinds of excuses. Also, that way it becomes a habit for your body, so meditation becomes easier each time you do it.

Meditating helps you de-stress, reconnects you with your spirit, and helps you to find the calm in your world. If you can be patient and truly focus on it, then you will find how truly beneficial meditation can be.

“The tie that binds” “Your pulling on my heart strings.” “No strings attached.”

Our language makes use of metaphorical language to describe what we unconsciously know to be true. Humans connect with one another with energy cords of attachment. This is all the more real to the trained clairvoyant who not only “sees” these energetic cords, but who is also able to help with removing them and accelerating the healing of the relationships that created them.

Every interaction and emotional exchange with others creates energy cords that connect our chakras to the chakras of others. These energy cords then continue the transference of energy between the two parties until the cords are broken or dissolve. The only instance where cords of attachment serve the individuals involved is in the case of mothers and their babies, because infants and small children need and rely on the nurturing and care of their mothers for their growth and development. A common problem, however, is that most people have numerous cords from their parents still hooked into them.

When we interact with others in our society it is not only common, but a regular daily occurrence to have people put their energy on you and in many cases “hook” you with their energy cords wanting something from you, or wanting to control you. Can you think of (m)any interactions with others in which they do not want something from you or in some way want to manipulate or control you? Not unless you live in an ashram of fully enlightened individuals. This being a practical reality of life on planet earth, I can say with assurance that you have many hooks and cords of attachment from and to many people. This keeps a conduit open between you in which the energies from others continues to have subtle, or not so subtle, influences on your daily thinking, attitudes, and conditions.

Because of the existence of these energetic cords and other factors, it is often difficult for people to get over old relationships, move through grief quickly, break old habit patterns, get over diseases, and move into a new life free of the “baggage” of the old life.

When you scan your life for every past relationship you have had, you should also scan for how people from your past have corded you this also includes organizations. Put yourself in a relaxed, meditative state when you do this work.

In order to break karmic cording with others that has controlled you, limited you, or kept you the victim in relationships, visualize the person standing opposite you, or if it is an organization, name it and say to yourself as follows:

“It is my intent, and my desire to formally sever and remove attachments, hooks, cords, judgments, distortions, pictures of reality, or any energetic impressions that I have gone into agreement with, with this person now release, detach and dissolve them from me.”

It is helpful to get in touch with any feelings you have about the person or organization, as this brings the cords and attachments to the surface. Call upon your spirit guides to assist you, and give them permission to help you.

You can also use your hands to pull the cords off by raking through your aura, or making motions of pulling the cords off. You should also imagine a meter in your mind’s eye rating the degree of intensity of the attachment on a scale from 1 to 10, and then recheck it after each removal process. It usually takes several sessions for each person or organization that needs to be removed.

Visualize yourself and the other person or organization pulling strands and cords from each other. While you are making separations, say, “I am not available to interact with you in this way anymore. I am free, and you are free.”

Scan yourself. Check the meter, and when it is at zero and you feel complete, visualize a computer screen and push the delete button to clear the screen.

Repeat this process with EVERYONE you can think of–it does not even have to be a serious issue. This will free you from the victim role and help you be more in control of your life.

For some you may need to repeat this process several or many times, if your connection with them was strong. As cords are removed, deeper layers rise and need to be removed. Scan through your entire lire, taking three or four people a day for each session, and go back down through you earliest memories of childhood and pull the cords between you and them.

When you have completed this process over a series of days or weeks, continue the same process as people’s names and organizations continue to come to mind in the months ahead. People’s names you had completely forgotten about will come to mind as you sift around in your subconscious mind. You can erase the hurt, pain and limitations you are still suffering with to this day, unbeknownst to you. Be sure to take a look at your part in the picture. You do not have to be a victim or suffer any limitations anymore. Be sure to bless and release each person with love.

Doing this proess with a clarivoyant who is experienced in this work can greatly acceleate you though this growth process.

Dear Dr. Parker,

In an earlier quote, you said to be careful of the people we thought of and spoke of, because it would bring their energy to us……my question is - even if we do not speak the name of someone who brings negative feelings to us - if someone else speaks the name, how can we change our emotional reaction? How can one change their, very old, very conditioned emotional response. Thank You! Karen

Dear Karen,

There are no short answers to your questions, and I don’t think they can be adequately resolved with anything written. The above article contains some of the answers, and I’ll cover a little more here for you.

The subject of emotions is a sensitive one for many people because emotions are regarded as the treasured distinction that makes us human; however, the solution to many human problems and the answer to your questions lie in becoming neutral and non-attached. One of the main reasons people find it difficult to remain neutral in situations is they have emotionally charged situations from their past still resident in them. When similar situations arise in their life, they trigger or activate the thoughtforms resident in the individual’s four-body system (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual bodies). These thoughtforms resurrect the emotions, and as the individual feels these emotions he usually fuels them more thus perpetuating the cycle.

Emotions and thoughtforms are energy, and energy can be released and/or dissolved. Many people believe that they are the unwilling slave of their emotions and there is nothing that can be done about it, but this is not true. Trapped negative emotional energy is a cause of disease, accidents, and problems, yet these energies can be released.

There are a number of ways of doing eliminating negative feelings and emotions, but the most elegant ones are a bit complicated to explain here–that is something I spend a fair amount of time with in the workshops, but here are some ways emotional energy can be discharged: by crying, talking about the emotionally laden subject (catharsis), massage, acupuncture, changing your philosophical outlook, yoga, and other forms of energy work.

One way of releasing negativity that I explain on some of my tapes is to enter a relaxed state and visualize putting the situation (people and words) on a screen and then disintegrate everything with a laser beam. This actually discharges the energy each time you do it, until it no longer affects you. In some cases it will take many months or years to completely release all disturbances.

One of the goals of many philosophical religions is to become non-attached this eliminates the source of the negative emotions. This is a life-long process and requires a more involved discussion than is appropriate here.

I hope this gives you some insights. The situation has a resolution, but it requires a degree of training and commitment.

Blessings,

Jonathan

Eastern philosophy and medicine, originating in ancient India and China, have traditionally regarded body structures and the life processes occurring within as inseparable. Their terminology resides halfway between structure and function and identifies certain entities in the human body, representing the flow of life energy and, in some sense, conduits for that flow that do not correspond to anatomical structures recognized by Western science and medicine. The chakras are the energy centers in a person?s biological field and are responsible for his or her physiological and psychological condition as well as certain groups of organs. All vital functions of the human body are determined by energy that spins in the chakras. These can be defined as ?whirlpools referred,? and in Indian, they are considered ?energy bursts? or ?wheels.?

The process of energy transformation happens exactly in these centers. Vital energy, along with blood, circulates around the meridians in the chakras and fuels all organs and systems in the human body. When the circulation in these meridians stagnates, the human body becomes susceptible to various disorders. An excellent preventative method, designed explicitly to battle such stagnation is Chi Gun, an ancient Chinese method for self-healing which activates the energy centers. Chi Gun teaches people to release the energy themselves by massaging specific areas corresponding to the different chakras.

There are 49 chakras mentioned in the Vedic Canons, seven of which are basic; 21 are in the second circle, and 21 in the third circle. According to the Vedis, there are multiple energy channels leading to different locations from the chakras. Three of these channels are basic. The first one, called ?shushumna,? is hollow and is concentrated in the spine. The other two energy pathways, ?ida? and ?pingala?, are located on either side of the spine. These two channels are the most active in most people, while ?shushumna? remains stagnant.

The seven basic chakras spin at high speeds in the body of healthy individuals but slow down in times of sickness or with advancing age. When the body is in a harmonious balance, the chakras remain partially open. Closed chakras are unable to receive energy, leading to various disorders.

The first basic chakra, ?Muladhara,? is located at the base of the spine in the tailbone area. Life energy, which is at the core of a strong and healthy immune system, is stored in this chakra. It is impossible for a person to become sick, old or even to die, before exhausting his or her reserves of this vital energy. The very will for life is controlled by Muladhara. It is also in charge of the bones and joints, the teeth, the nails, the urinogenital system and the large intestine. The first symptoms of a malfunctioning Muladhara are unreasonable fear, faintness, lack of security or faith in the future, leg and foot problems, and intestinal disorders.

The interrupted activity of the Muladhara chakra causes lack of energy, digestive problems, diseases of the bones and spine, and nervous tension among others.

The second chakra, ?Svadhistana,? is located at the level of the sacrum, three or four fingers below the belly button. This chakra regulates the pelvis, the kidneys and sexual functions. We also feel other peoples? emotions through this chakra. Symptoms of a malfunctioning ?Svadhistana? are kidney problems, cystitis and arthritis.

The third chakra, ?Manipura,? is found in the solar plexus area. This chakra is the center for storing and distributing energy produced by digestion and breathing. It is responsible for vision, the gastrointestinal system, the liver, the gall bladder, the pancreas and nervous system. Symptoms of a stagnant ?Manipura? are as follows: increased and constant worrying, as well as stomach, liver and nervous disorders.

The fourth chakra, ?Anahata,? also called the heart chakra, is located in the chest area. We generate and receive love through this chakra. It is in charge of the heart, the lungs, the bronchi, the hands and the arms. Symptoms of stagnation include depression and cardiovascular imbalances.

The fifth chakra, ?Vishudha,? is located at the throat level and is the center of analytical skills and logic. This chakra sustains the skin, organs of hearing, along with the trachea and lungs. Symptoms include a lack of emotional stability, discomfort in the cervical spine, soar throats, difficulties communicating, and esophagus and thyroid ailments.

The sixth chakra, ?Adjna,? is located between the eyebrows and is called the ?third eye.? Here is the throne for the human brain. ?Adjna? circulates energy to the head and pituitary gland and is also responsible for determining our harmonious development. If a person?s ?third eye? ceases to function properly, one might notice a decrease in intellectual ability, headaches and migraines, earaches, olfactory illnesses, and psychological disorders.

The seventh chakra, ?Sahasrara,? is found at the very top of the head and represents the apex where an individual?s energy vibrates with the highest frequency. It is considered a spiritual center and the entrance to the body for cosmic energy. A stagnant ?Sahasrara? can result in a decrease in or lack of inner wisdom, as well as a lack of basic intuition.

With this basic knowledge of the first seven chakras, we can address the question: ?How do we use this information to locate the causes of our troubles and problems, and with the help of Eastern Medicine, learn to control the functions of the chakras ourselves??.

From the perspective of Eastern Medicine, our health depends on the distribution of our energy-consciousness informational field. A shortage of energy inevitably causes ailments. According to Tibetan Medicine, the only difference between youth and old age, and between a sick and healthy individual, is the difference in the rotating speed of the whirlpool energy centers of the chakras. If these different speeds are balanced, old people will rejuvenate and sick people will heal. Therefore, the best way to preserve and keep our health, youth and vitality is to restore and maintain a balanced movement of the energy centers.

The easiest way to keep the chakras balanced is through a set of physical exercises. Yannis called these not simply exercises, but rituals. These rituals allow the human body to mold its energy centers to an ideal level of function. The seven rituals, one for each chakra, must be performed together every morning and when not possible, in the evening. Skipping rituals unbalances energy distribution, and so for the best results, no more than one day per week should be missed. The daily chakra rituals are necessary not only for revitalizing the body, but also for achieving success in every facet of life. ?Once you learn how to transform your energy, you will also become happier,? concluded Yannis.

For learning these rituals (which have transformed many peoples? lives throughout the world), seeing them in action is much more effective than trying to follow written descriptions or diagrams. A DVD, available from Helix 7, Inc. (www.FeelingOfHappiness.com), includes actual demonstrations of these rituals.

Another method of keeping the chakras balanced and in their optimal half-open state is meditation. Meditative methods are universal to the human experience; they have accumulated over the ages through many different cultures and have proven their value in attaining peace, clarity, equanimity and in transcending despair. People who meditate on a regular basis are usually calmer, more secure, more joyful and more productive human beings. They are more effective in their everyday lives because they use their mental and physical potential, abilities and skills to their fullest extent. All too often, we humans fail to realize the great latent powers which are, as yet, unawakened in our bodies. We must learn how to revive and utilize them. This can only be achieved through meditation. Eastern men of wisdom, who believed meditation to be a vital necessity, stumbled on this discovery more than 1000 years ago. They learned to influence their inner organs and control their metabolism with the power of their minds. Meditation is to the mind what exercise is to the body; mental strength can be built up just like physical strength. Just as in athletics, it is important for an individual to train his or her body, it is important for an individual to train his or her mind through meditation.

The best time for meditation is early morning, preferably at dawn. Do not meditate when you are sad, aggravated, desperate or sick, because these intense emotional and physiological distractions make an enlightened state of mind impossible. For an effective meditation session, it is preferable to arrange for the undistracted silence of a quiet, clean room with flowers, or the soothing sounds of Mother Nature - near a lake, river, waterfall, woods or fields. Many different mental practices, having their origin in historical traditions, fall under the general heading of “meditation.” These paths of mental development can involve emotional and intellectual facets and may also be coordinated with specific movements. Meditation can be structured or unstructured, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer writes in his book Real Magic, ?The process of meditation is nothing more than quietly going within and discovering that higher component of yourself ? Learning to meditate is learning how to live rather than talking about it??

Chakra has to do with the energy that resides in the human body.
It is part of the Hinduism and Asian cultures. It is basically a
massage that helps the body heal from the inner soul so that a
person has more energy and release any bad energy that makes a
person feel depressed. The actual word Chakra refers to “wheel
of life”. There are five traditional sources of Chakra, but some
people believe that there is eight points.

The Chakra is described as being aligned from the top of the
head down. Many people will associate a color with an aspect of
Chakra or an element of character. Chakra is thought to be
associated with the physical and emotional or mental nature of
the human body. Chakra is the energy of life and that’s why it’s
called Chakra, because it is the wheel of life. Traditional
Chinese medicines include Chakra. They believe that the Chakra
points cure all illnesses of the body. By healing the points a
person is heeled.

Many cultures believe that there are seven charkas that reflect
how the body becomes in perfect harmony and sound. The seven
points are known as the crown, third eye, heart/lung, throat,
Solar plexus, Sacrum, and root. The crown is just above the head
and is associated with the color violet. It is the dominant
color of Chakra. It’s function as a point is to connect to a
divinity.

The associated element with the crown is space. The associated
element is what the body needs to have the point work. The third
eye is associated with blue and has the primary function of
intuition. It is known as the third eye because it allows the
body to have an extra sense of perception. To have this point
working fully a person needs time. The throat is associated with
an ice blue. It is the point of self-expression and vocals. For
a person to have this they need life.

They need to feel alive and well. The heart and lung point is
associated with medium green and is where love, devotion,
compassion, and healing begins. To feel you need air, and when
you are empty or depressed it is this Chakra point that needs to
be healed. As for the solar plexus, it is light yellow and is
metal. It controls power and freedom to be oneself and it also
allows a person to have ambition. If a person feels that they
need to be more positive and out going they will need heat or
passion.

As for the sacrum, which is located within the center of the
pelvis, it is associated with light orange and controls
emotions, sexual energy, and creativity. It is the point that
makes people feel strongly about something. And finally the root
point is a light red and controls a person’s instinct or
survival. This is the last time Chakra that many massage
therapists tries to focus on.
